This July 4th as we celebrate our freedom and independence as a nation, I think back to Galatians 5.1:
For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.Paul often spoke of slavery to sin. What sins do we need to proclaim our independence from this day?
